shrinky dink charms :D

heyy, today I wanted to show you a few shrinky dink charms I made. Shrinky dinks charms are charms made of a drawing on a special paper, which shrink in the oven. I made a video for my other blog on how to make them, so I'll post the link in this post, but first I want to show some pictures of charms.

A team Peeta charms. I'm a huge fan of Peeta from the Hunger Games, and this was the first charm I made.

Cats on a stick charms before and after it was shrunk.

Some tiny charms I made from paper I had left.

Before and after pictures of a few charms. I made a Team Reid charm (Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds), a Union Jack mustache, a cat cupcake, a feather, and a cupcake for a ring base. The feather and the cupcake ring base didn't turn out very well...

The other charms I made are in the video:

I will also put other (cute) DIY video's on that youtube channel, so for more DIY's, subscribe on my FashioniSTAR channel.

I hope you like it :D

update

Heyy, I know I don't post very much on this blog, but that will change. School starts in four days for me, and I made a planning for what to post for my three blogs and two online stories. I will post something every week on this blog. If I have time left, I will post more.

I hope you like it.

resin pieces

heyy, a while ago, I tried making some resin charms. I saw a lot of them online and I wanted to make them too, so for my birthday (April 17th) I got a set with resin, hardener, mesuring cups and stirring sticks. But I didn't opened it until a few weeks ago. I posted it on my other blog, but I forgot to post it here, so here it is.

I made six pieces in total, 4 failed completely, 1 failed a little bit and the other is good. It is kind of funny, because the first one turned out best, the second failed a little and the latest failed completely. I will show them here.

This are the first two pieces I made. It looks like they have a huge air bubble on the right, but that is part of the mold. There are some small airbubbles, but for my first two charms, they look pretty good I think. The piece on the right failed a little, because a few days later, I picked it out of the box where I keep them to dry, and one spot at the front hadn't dried completely, so there's a scratch now. The left piece did dry, luckily.

I'm sad, because these pieces look very cute I think. But they wouldn't dry well. The piece is hard, but the top layer is sticky, even after two weeks. I don't know why they failed, but I think something went wrong while mesuring or stirring. I will try making them again when I get back from vacation. Monday I will leave for five days, and than I have one week of vacation left at home, so enough time to craft. When resin pieces turn out better, I will made a tutorial, because I want to show an end result that turned out well in the tutorial.

I hope you like it

Process: kawaii Finnick drawing

hi, when I was drawing Finnick Odair from the Hunger Games serie, I made pictures of my process. It's sort of a step-by-step post. But since I am posting this on my smartphone, I can't show them in my post. They will be under my post.

Finnick Odair has won the 65th Hunger Games and is Reaped again for the 75th. He is 24, has bronze hair and seagreen eyes. The picture I have drawn is from the tribute parade, where they wear something matching the district they live in. Finnick lives in district 4 (the fishing district) so he wears underwear made from a net. I also used his famous quote: "Want a sugercube?".

I hope you like it.

Hunger Games kawaii drawings

hi, first of all, I'm very sorry for not posting for more than two months. I have been sort of busy with all kinds of things and I have been on vacation. Sorry Sorry Sorry

Now my actual post. Like I said, I have been on vacation. While on vacation, I started reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay (Hunger Games books for the people who don't know the names) and since then I am obsessed with THG. When I got back home, my obsession went further. I watched tons of interviews, read fanmade stories, eventually began a fanmade story myself, looked for pictures and then I found some THG chibi drawing. I thought, I could do that too.

So I began to draw yesterday and I already made a lot of drawings. Katniss, Peeta, Finnick, Haymitch and a Peeta + Katniss with background (if you are looking for Gale, he will come).

They are not really manga or chibi, but my own kawaii drawing style. A big head, small body, but not chibi small, and they have sort of real life shadow.

Since I'm writing on my smartphone, the pictures will show under my post. If you have a request for a kawaii style drawing, please comment. It don't have to be a Hunger Games personage or a famous person, if you want me to draw you or a friend, comment and send me a picture (it will be harder to draw real life persons I don't know, because I don't know their special features. But I'll try).

I hope you like them.

Kawaii crayon art

Hello, a few weeks ago, my and my best friend made some art with crayons, a blowdryer, glue, canvas and a drawing sticked to cardboard.

You stick the crayons to the canvas with your glue. I prefer a hot glue gun. Then you make a drawing and stick it to the cardboard. I used school glue. You can choose to stick the drawing on the canvas now or after the blowdrying. I did it now, my friend chose to do it after the blowdrying. Then you blowdry your crayons till they melt and melt and melt till it drops of your canvas. Then you have your own crayon art.

I hope you like it.
